Yesterday was the birthday of my brother in law

And because it's a bass player I decided to make a cake themed

eccolaaaaaa

ingredients for two cakes

550 gr soft butter

15 eggs 400g caster sugar 800g

flour

The juice of one small lemon

With a mixer beat the egg yolks with sugar adding a drop of 'hot

long as the mixture becomes clear e spumoso

Aggiungete il burro a pezzettini

E continuate a sbattere il tutto

Incorporate la farina sempre con il frullatore

Montate gli albumi a neve con un pizzico di sale

Adesso mettete un po’ di albume nella ciotola del composto e mescolate energicamente con una

Paletta   aggiungete il resto degli albumi e mescolate dal basso verso l’alto

Aggiungete il succo di limone e continuate a mescolare

Prendete 2 teglie rettangolari

Una di circa   35 cm   e l’altra un po’ piu’ piccola

Trasferite piu’ della metà del composto nella teglia piu’ grande

E l’altro in quella piu’ piccola infornate   a 180° per circa 30 minuti

con la teglia piu' piccola ho ricavato il manico del basso

mentre con l'altra la cassa

le torte sono state farcite con una mousse al limone

e bagnate con il succo di arancia e limone

ricoperti da cioccolato fondente e cioccolato al latte fuso

il basso è durato pochissimo

l'abbiamo divorato

buonissimo
